The family business you can trust

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What methods of payment can I use to pay my 20% deposit and balance?
A:

You can use most Debit or Credit Cards or send a cheque, but not cards such as American Express & Diners Club. The balance becomes due on delivery. However we ask that balances settled by cash are done so at the store and before delivery. Presently we do not accept payments over the internet.

Q: Q: What do your prices include?
A:

Value and Honesty

Value because our prices include V.A.T., a FREE 5 year guarantee (conditions apply) and FREE delivery within 25 miles. Our directly employed staff set up your furniture where you want it and take away any packaging, all as part of our service.

Honesty, because we haven’t created fictitiously high prices for 28 days so we can then claim to be taking 50% off. Other stores do this! Did they actually sell the goods at the inflated price to some unfortunate individual?

Q: How accurate are your delivery dates?
A:

All dates given by our suppliers are quoted in good faith and reviewed regularly. We will make every effort to honour delivery estimates.

Q: If I wish to order upholstery from one of your brochures, can I obtain a fabric sample?
A:

Yes. If you e-mail us and specify which fabric you are interested in, we will arrange to have one sent to you.

Q: FREE 5 YEAR STRUCTURAL GUARANTEE
A:

We have confidence in the products we offer for sale and will make good defects free of charge if customers notify us in the first year after receipt. Each item bought for £250 or more (after any discount), will be structurally guaranteed for four further years thereafter. However, we reserve the right to make a charge for after sales service if it falls outside the terms and conditions of our guarantee (copy available on request)

Q: What does your Furniture & Beds Disposal Service involve?

Regrettably this is a chargeable service due to soaring landfill taxes. Currently we are charging £30.00 on a like for like basis. Eg Deliver a new bed and a 3 piece suite, take away an unwanted bed and suite all for one charge of £30.00.

Free collection may be possible by contacting the following charitable organisations. Note any upholstered item must meet current fire regulations to be any use to them.

Q: Recliners Wall Recliners & Incliners - What's the difference ?
A.

The picture above shows a recliner. A Wall Recliner is designed to hug the wall (within 5 inches) when in the upright position, yet still achieve full recline. An incliner has footrest action only with a fixed back. Recliner and incliner actions are available on some settees.

Q: What if my delivery contains damaged or faulty goods?

Should this happen please contact us on 01895 672142 so we can arrange for appropriate action to be taken. This may include arranging an inspection by our technician, a repair and/or replacement of the effected goods. We are an independent Family business and pride ourselves on the way we care for our customers.

Q: What happens if I want to cancel my order?

Cancellations or changes will be accommodated whenever possible, however when the processing of an order has commenced any amendments may incur a 20% stocking charge. Items cannot be exchanged or refunded if they meet our supplier’s standards as displayed in our showroom and represented in product literature and information made available at the time of placing the order.
We reserve the right to retain a customer's deposit or issue a credit note.
